Pre-Op and Post-Op Instructions for Your Treatment:

Pre-Operative Instructions Before Your Treatment:

Stop Smoking & Alcohol:

  • Cease smoking and drinking alcohol at least one week before the treatment.

Supplements:

  • Avoid omega fish oils, vitamin E, chili, ginseng, garlic, krill, and other supplements two days before treatment.

Medications:

  • Avoid aspirin-based medicines like Naproxen/Naprogesic, Neurofen, and Ibuprofen.

Physical Activity:

  • Refrain from high-intensity workouts and saunas in the days leading up to your treatment.

Post-Operative Instructions After Your Treatment:

Things to Avoid:

Movement & Activity:

  • Limit movement in the treated area for two weeks.
  • Avoid strenuous activity for one week for facial treatments and two weeks for body treatments.
  • No makeup on the treated area for 48 hours.
  • Avoid alcohol for a week post-treatment.
  • Postpone other aesthetic treatments and facials for four weeks.
  • Continue avoiding aspirin-based medicines.

Lifestyle Adjustments:

  • Stop smoking for at least 14 days.
  • Avoid using straws and opt for soft meals for a week.
  • No chewing gum for two weeks.
  • Sleep upright for the first two weeks.
  • Avoid pulling, massaging, scrubbing, or exfoliating your face for three weeks.
  • Don’t wash or touch your face for the first 12 hours.

Things to Do:

Bruising/Swelling Management:

  • Ice the treated area for a few minutes, 4-5 times a day, for the first week.

Activity Reduction:

  • Limit activity on the day of and after your treatment.

Pain Management:

  • Use post-op painkillers as recommended by your specialist. Avoid aspirins for two weeks.

Expectations for Results:

Initial Results:

  • Some results are visible right away, with maximum effects in 4-6 weeks.

Bruising & Swelling:

  • Normal post-treatment, lasting 2-3 days.

Tissue Asymmetry & Abnormalities:

  • Common, typically lasting 1-2 weeks.

Pain Management:

  • Pain at injection sites is normal, usually lasting a few days. Consult your professional if discomfort persists beyond two weeks.
