Microneedling
A popular skin revitalization treatment, traditional microneedling (which we also offer!) uses a special hand-piece with ultra-fine needles to create very tiny wounds (called micro-injuries) as it passes across the area. How does RF Microneedling feel?
Does it hurt?
Before your service, your med spa practitioner will apply a topical numbing cream to your skin for 30 minutes to minimize any discomfort during your treatment. Because it desensitizes nerve endings, most patients describe the treatment as virtually painless — like a mild heating sensation with an occasional, fleeting zap from the micro-needles quickly passing over the skin.
Following the treatment, your med spa practitioner will apply nourishing serums directly to the skin.
How will I look & feel after?
After microneedling with radio frequency, your skin will be red and slightly tender, much like a sunburn. Also, you may have tiny pinprick marks on your skin that crust and flake off. The redness usually dissipates within 24-48 hours depending on the deepness of your treatment. Most patients return to work or resume social activities after one day.
