Restylane® Lyft

What is Restylane® Lyft

Restylane® Lyft, from Galderma is really two treatments in a single product. It is indicated for use in both the face and hands, and is an ideal treatment to help create that natural-looking volume you want.

As we age, our natural fat in our face starts to deteriorate. This can cause sagging skin, deeper, more noticeable wrinkles and a reduction of volume in your face and hands. Restylane Lyft, (formerly known as Perlane-L®), It is an injectable hyaluronic acid gel from the Restylane family of products that is FDA-approved to lift cheeks, replenish volume, and contour the face by smoothing away wrinkles and smile lines. Restylane Lyft was specifically designed to add fullness to the cheeks, midface area, and the back of the hands, without a surgical procedure to help enhance your aesthetic appearance.

How it Works

A Restylane Lyft treatment consists of injections that contain hyaluronic acid, lidocaine, and water. The HA and water combination creates a plumping effect, adding volume beneath your skin. This works to temporarily smooth out wrinkles in the target area. Restylane® Lyft uses larger particles that are injected deeper to improve skin elasticity and produce a more natural look. It provides the sculpted high cheekbones that you want and smooths out nasolabial folds, commonly known as laugh or smile lines.

Restylane® Lyft works in two phases. Some results may be visible immediately, but the full effect is realized after some time. After the injections, the gel adds volume that immediately improves the contour of your face. This helps reduce wrinkles and fine lines while giving your skin more support that smooths out the texture. The long-term effects of this dermal filler are produced when the hyaluronic acid in the formula reacts naturally with your skin to attract more moisture. This additional moisture boosts the volume and elasticity of your skin. Future follow-up treatments will help to maintain these effects.

The lidocaine in Restylane Lyft helps to minimize any pain during the procedure. This also helps save time, as you won’t need to wait for a separate pain reliever to take effect before each treatment.
